Business challenges 

• They wanted to migrate Slack Channels to MS Team Channels  
• Their Slack standard plan was expiring soon and they had to migrate before the plan expired and downgraded to a free plan.  
• They did not want to lose any data and since they were running out of time, the client wanted to have a team of Slack experts for doing the quick migration before the plan expired without any disruptions.  

How AVASOFT helped? 

• Once all the pre-sales and SOW got completed, the client had shared the Slack and Office 365 service account details along with the migration server.  

• AVASOFT migration service team had started the inventory assessment and shared the inventory report with the client.  
• During the migration process, the client’s Slack workspace plan got expired and was downgraded to a Free plan from the Standard plan.  
• With the help of our migration service team, along with the client’s Slack workspace Admin and Slack support, we managed to revert the Slack workspace and started the migration. 

Business gains 

• Based on the Client Slack Plan type and plan end date, we planned the migration and moved the MS Team to go live. 

• The client could have lost some of their crucial data due to the Slack Standard plan expiry but we managed to retrieve them and migrate them to Teams
