Learn how AVASOFT helped UFCW to upgrade their intranet from SharePoint 2007 to Office 365 to leverage new collaboration features.

UFCW1776 client is the United Food and Commercial Workers union exists to enrol, as members, all persons engaged in work within its assigned jurisdiction, to negotiate collective bargaining agreements, maintaining all other contractual rights and to enforce agreements by resolving grievances.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Migration of 22 Sites and 170 Thousand data’s of size around 85GB to Office365 SharePoint online.

  • We have taken the current data of SharePoint 2007 and migrated to Office 365. Later the data growth during the migration period was managed as incremental migration.
  • Updating new grievances mails from the outlook to the SharePoint online document library.

A deep analysis of the existing site inventory and structure was done to avoid data loss.

  • A through migration plan involving the complete inventory was detailed and communicated to the client. Synchronized the emails from outlook to SharePoint Online.
